Flexicath’s proprietary products address the most pressing problems facing the IV catheterization market today.

Flexicath founders Shai Amisar and Ronen Radomski have extensive business development experience focused in the field of intravenous catheterization. They have been active in developing and commercializing medical devices, including prior success with bringing products to market.

They and the Flexicath team work closely with the Company’s medical advisors and scientific advisory board, recognized professionals in the IV and related fields.

Founded in 2004, Flexicath is a privately held company.

Management Team

Backed by extensive business experience in the IV field, Flexicath’s founders have a proven track record of developing and commercializing medical devices.

Shai Amisar, CEO and Director

Prior to founding Flexicath, Shai Amisar was instrumental in conceptualizing and developing more than 20 products and inventions. He holds more than 15 patents for products in various industry sectors. An expert in forensic chemistry, Shai served as chief scientist and product development manager for a number of medical device start-ups. He holds a master’s degree in medicinal chemistry and bachelor’s degree in pharmacy from the Faculty of Medicine of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.

Ronen Radomski, CTO and Director

Prior to founding Flexicath, Ronen Radomski was involved in commercializing a number of products in the medical and healthcare fields. He served as director of a consultancy seminar specializing in medical- and health-related topics. Previously, he served as director of marketing and sales for a consumer products company. Ronen holds an engineering degree in analytical and industrial chemistry.

Rick Zitelman, Director

Rick Zitelman is principal and founder of The Zitelman Group, Inc., a merchant and investment banking firm specializing in early-stage companies. He holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, and is a licensed CPA and CVA (Certified Valuation Analyst).

Steve Rhodes, Director

Steve Rhodes serves as CEO of the Misgav Venture Accelerator. In 1993, Steve formed The Trendlines Group, a leading Israeli business development firm. Prior to that, he held various positions at Bank Leumi of Israel, including deputy manager of the bank’s international division. Steve received an MBA from the University of Chicago and a bachelor’s degree from Harvard University. He is a licensed CPA in the state of Illinois.

D. Todd Dollinger, Director

D. Todd Dollinger serves as chairman of The Trendlines Group, and managing partner of T.I.F. Ventures. Along with Steve Rhodes, he is a founding partner of The Trendlines Group, having previously launched Trendlines, Inc., a Kansas City-based company providing sales, marketing, consulting and product development services for the U.S. market.

Scientific Advisory Board

Dr. Gary E. Applebaum, Medical Advisor

Dr. Gary E. Applebaum is a nationally recognized expert in medical care provision and health care system management. From 1989 to 2005, he served as EVP and chief medical officer of Erickson Retirement Communities. In 1994, Dr. Applebaum was named Geriatrics Clinician of the Year by the American Geriatrics Society.

Professor Paul Froom, M.D., Medical Advisor

Professor Paul Froom serves as director of the master’s program in occupational health at Tel Aviv University’s Sackler Faculty of Medicine. He also directs the Haifa and Western Galilee General Health Services hematology laboratory. Prof. Froom received his medical degree from Creighton University (Nebraska) and a master’s degree in occupational health from Tel Aviv University.
